Twenty years of colour, one salon on the King's Road

Erdem Hair London is a colour and cutting salon in Chelsea, run by Erdem Tekelioğlu. The work is bespoke colour, signature balayage, precision cutting and luxury extensions — planned around your hair rather than a trend.

The founder

Erdem Tekelioğlu

Erdem has spent twenty years colouring hair, and it has taught him to look before he lifts. He reads the hair first: its history, its porosity, how it holds tone. The plan comes after that, and it is written for the client in front of him — not for a reference photo.

He opened his own salon in London in 2020. In 2023 he moved it to 508 King's Road, where the work is colour, cutting and extensions across European, Asian, Slavic and Latin hair.

How we work

Three things that shape every appointment

Whatever you book, the same three rules apply. They are the reason the appointments run longer than you might expect.

Consultation first

We look at your hair in daylight, go through its colour history and agree the result — including how many sessions it honestly takes to get there.

Your hair type decides

European, Asian, Slavic and Latin hair lift and hold tone differently. The technique follows your hair, not the picture you brought in.

Enough time booked

Appointments are long for a reason. Colour is checked as it develops and nothing is rushed to fit another client in.
